Each Publishing was created by singer-songwriter duo Aaron Bright and Aaron Patrick as a house for them to showcase their craft as a duo and individually. Like peanut butter and jelly or soup and salad some things are better as a pair. This is certainly the case for a pair of Aaron’s. The two met when their respective bands, The Big Creak (Bright) and Oval Opus (Patrick), landed cuts on the soundtrack for the Universal Pictures film “Winter Break”. The two bands subsequently played many shows together and the Aaron’s kept in touch.
After several years of touring apart the pair found themselves together in Cincinnati, Ohio, where like milk and honey, a creative partnership was united. It was instantly clear that with Patrick’s powerful, soulful voice and acoustic guitar paired with Bright’s melodic keys and tight harmonies this was one pairing worth investing in. Like the double A’s in each of their names these double Aaron’s formed a friendship that went beyond music. Commonalities like their church upbringing, southern roots, similar day jobs and fatherhood helped the pair craft sincere story telling lyrics and inspired hooks that instantly stick in your head. As Bright shares, “It isn’t often you find a songwriting partnership where you are comfortable baring each other’s souls yet stay honest enough to say what is or isn’t good for the song”.
The pair’s writing relationship found a vehicle when they formed the Cincinnati based band Green Light Morning. Now a long local favorite they have been described as “The Script meets Lifehouse meets The Fray” and “a band one big break away from being another Train”.
Collectively the Aaron’s have written hundreds of songs, had over 60 music placements on major TV networks and have humbly shared the stage with national acts like Andy Grammar, Needtobreathe, Sister Hazel and Eric Hutchinson. This pair will draw you in like a kid to a candy store!
